Only $500? DEAL!

After having seeing Brock perish among the dirt and debris, I went walking toward the path going East where I could see trainers battling and hoped to get Flappers and Tsunami more experience in this world.

Tsunami started walking slower and slower as we headed over there. I know he isn't the fastest little guy, but he has been able to keep up pretty well until now. We stopped by the Pokémon Center and the nurse didn't see anything wrong with him. I guess it's free health care so I can't complain.

We went on our way until he stopped and began glowing. I wondered what was going on. I hoped he wouldn't fall like Minnie had before.

What is going on?

...bad ass.

Tsunami must have gotten enough experience to become a more powerful monster. Still the same blue turtle I picked at the beginning of this adventure, just more powerful. I wonder what else evolves?

On our way east towards the mountains, I am stopped by one of Oak's men. He looks over me and notices my badge. He sneers and presents me with a package.

Thanks, I guess.

I open the package and all that is inside the package.. is a detonator. The aide takes off on a bird Pokémon and leaves me there. Did Oak send this? Why did he blow up Brock and the gym?!

The road was open and I wanted to clear my head and none of these idiots on this path looked like they had a clue. Most talked about boys and how comfortable shorts were. Flappers made short work of most of them. I did notice that same man in black watching me battle. Odd.

As opposed to Mt. Dew.

I stopped into the Pokémon Hospital to get ready for the long walk ahead into the mountain and found a gentleman selling what he called "the greatest, most powerful Pokémon you could find. The Pokémon those fat cats don't want you to know about!"

I love good deals.

This sounds ok I guess.

I had chosen.. poorly. After I found out just what an awful Pokémon this was I tried to get a refund. The man had already packed up and left. What a shame. I decided to name the little golden monster Fish-Bulb because frankly I don't see a lot of good coming from this thing but it's here now and I can't return him and I need all the help I can get.
